We can help you get there.
Life Changing certificates
Online courses give students the opportunity to plan study time around the rest of their day, instead of the other way around. Students can study and work at their convenience. Course material is always accessible online, making special library trips unnecessary.
Lower total costs
Online programs prove a more affordable educational option nowadays. For example, there are no commuting costs, and sometimes required course materials, such as textbooks, are available online at no charge. Also, we haven't increased tuition this semester, offering the same high quality to your experience.
Transfer credit courses
For college students who want to attend summer classes, but live too far from their colleges and work summer jobs, taking online courses from an accredited college and transferring credit for industry certifications and professional courses.
What our graduates are saying
"For many years, I'd been looking for a way to enter the cyber security field, but it was really hard to find training that would be delivered in a timely fashion and incorporate the latest trends. At SLCC, I finally found an opportunity to pursue that dream. SLCC has a very focused and up-to-day program that includes the most relevant angles of security. Going through their cyber security certification program, I learned all about ethical hacking, cyber forensics, system penetration testing, plus considerably improved my network management skills. In a short period of time, I was able not only to update my skills, but also reposition myself in an rapidly expanding job market. So, if you are someone who is looking to enter the cyber security industry, or someone who simply wants to sharpen your technical knowledge, I strongly recommend taking the cyber security program at SLCC."
Rodrigo Caetano, Technology Strategist & Advisor
In 2018, I was a student at Salt Lake community college. I stopped attending, but later I realized that my average income would not support my wife and my two children. After some semesters, I finished my A.S with an emphasis on cybersecurity. Then I transferred to Western Governors University and completed my B.A in Cyber Security. A month late, after graduation, I got a job with F5 Security in Draper, Utah, MAKING for $60,000 a year. Later the same year, I was promoted and is now I'm making 70,000 a year. Now I work in a Security Operations Center (SOC) protecting Fortune 500 companies from cyber-attacks. Because of the nature of my job, I was able to continue working from home during the COVID-19 epidemic, right now, I'm building my dream house for my family.
